An intimate restaurant atmosphere, all your own.

Anemone was born from the idea that private dining should be accessible within the downtown core, no matter the group or event size.

After years of working with clients frustrated with the lack of small event spaces available within the city to host their guests for dinner, it only made sense for Chef Dany to take her 20 years of private dining and catering experience and create a venue space that allows for boutique functions and a curated dining experience.

Combining Chef Dany’s extensive experience with bartender Stéphane Duval’s knowledge, creativity and passion behind the bar, Anemone opened its doors in 2022 as the city’s first fully private dining and event space. Since that time, Chef Duguay and her team have hosted hundreds of guests for private dining experiences, small-scale events and upscale micro weddings.

Anemone continues to offer events and services both on-site at their unique downtown venue or at a location of your choice, all with an emphasis on quality over quantity and a drive to make your next small event unforgettable.

“Chef Dany came out to our cabin for a special birthday dinner we hosted for friends. The food was incredible, and the service felt like a 5 star restaurant without having to leave our home. She was great to communicate with for planning the event. Dany and partner were extremely efficient cleaning up after the event as well. We look forward to experiencing her food again in the future.”
